Francisco Gómez’s passion for wine began at a very young age, when he worked as a grape harvester in other countries. His proximity to the countryside and the winemaking process made him dream of having his own winery. On his return to our country, he looked for a location in a wine-growing area and found it in Villena. In 1995 he took over the boundaries of the La Serrata estate and began to see his dream come true. He gradually expanded this land with other adjoining estates until reaching what it now covers: an area of 3,500 hectares. This estate was the site of an old winery dating from the 18th century. He began by working the vineyard and olive grove and ended up building the necessary facilities to produce his first wines.

The origins of this winery date back to 2000. However, it was in 2004 that we first produced around 200,000 kilos of grapes from our own vineyard.

From these first vinifications we controlled the varieties and plots that would be used to make highly expressive wines. In addition, we carry out an exhaustive study with the best professionals in viticulture. This helped us to restructure the rest of the vineyard by planting new varieties on trellises.

Our winery, which belongs to the D.O. Alicante, is located in the Alto Vinalopó region. The climate here is more extreme, with colder winters than in other areas of this designation of origin.

Of all of them, the MONASTRELL red grape is the autochthonous variety and the base of most of our wines. It is a long cycle, late ripening variety, very well adapted to dry and extreme climates such as ours. Its organoleptic value is immense. It stands out for its aromatic power and versatility. It can be used to produce everything from still and sweet wines to a range of sparkling wines. These wines are intense, medium-high robe with aromas of ripe fruit, great body and mineral touches.

Our collection of premium wines includes whites, rosés and young reds, oak and aged wines, sparkling and sweet wines. All of them are vegan, kosher and made using organic and biodynamic farming methods.
